This policy explains what information Bike Dude Rentals collects when you use bikeduderentals.com, why we collect it, and who else is involved. We are a small bike rental business in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Information You Give Us

When you make a booking, you provide your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, rental dates and payment details. We need this to deliver a bike to you and to contact you about your rental.

Bookings are handled by FareHarbor, a third-party booking platform. Your payment card details are processed by FareHarbor and their payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.

If you call, text or email us, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and refer back to it if you book again.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some technical information as you browse:

• Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is aggregated and used to understand which pages are useful.
• Google Tag Manager loads the measurement tags described here.
• Google Search Console shows us which search terms bring people to the site. This data is aggregated and never identifies individuals.

Advertising and Remarketing

We advertise on Google. To do that we use Google Ads, which relies on cookies and similar technologies:

• Google and its partners, including third-party vendors, use first-party cookies such as the Google Analytics cookie together with third-party cookies such as the DoubleClick cookie. These are used to serve ads based on your past visits to this website.
• We may use remarketing, which means that after you visit bikeduderentals.com you could see our ads on other websites, on YouTube, or across the Google Display Network. This does not identify you to us personally.
• Google Ads conversion tracking tells us whether an advertisement led to a booking. It reports numbers, not the identity of individual customers.

You can control this. Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com let you turn off personalised advertising. To opt out of many third-party vendors at once, use the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at optout.networkadvertising.org.

Third Parties on This Site

Some parts of the site are provided by other companies, and they receive data directly:

• FareHarbor powers our booking system. When you open the booking window, FareHarbor receives the information you enter, and their own privacy policy applies.
• Trustindex displays our Google reviews. Loading that section contacts Trustindex and Google servers.
• Google Fonts supplies the typeface used on this site, which means your browser requests a file from Google and Google receives your IP address in the process.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. On this site they come from Google Analytics, Google Ads and FareHarbor rather than from us directly. Advertising cookies are covered in more detail above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you from browsing the site, though the booking window may not work correctly without them.

How Long We Keep Things

We keep booking records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes, and in case you rent from us again. Analytics data is retained according to Google's own retention settings. Messages you send us are kept until they are no longer useful.

Your Choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bikeduderentals.com and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can. If you are in the UK or European Union, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, Google provides a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
